Key Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Podiatrist, you will:
  • Deliver expert podiatric care, addressing conditions such as diabetic foot care, bunions, calluses, corns, and ingrown toenails.
  • Perform routine foot care services, including nail trimming, corn and callus removal, and preventative care.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and provide patient education on foot health, proper footwear, and the prevention of complications.
  • Collaborate with care staff to ensure seamless and coordinated care for patients.
  • Create a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for elderly patients, adapting to their unique physical and cognitive needs.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
  • A Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited program.
  • A current state license to practice podiatry.
  • Experience providing podiatric care to geriatric populations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with elderly patients.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care.
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with care teams.
