We are looking for a dynamic, innovative, and experienced Senior Development Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects across different sectors, including construction, energy, municipalities, and schools. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of savings calculations, solar energy, measurement, verification, M&V, IPMVP, cost controls, design, commissioning, and the use of software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Procore.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Development Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Leading the design and development of various engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Performing savings calculations and energy audits to identify opportunities for energy efficiency and cost savings.
3. Working with municipalities and schools to implement solar energy projects, including system design, installation, and commissioning.
4. Conducting measurement and verification (M&V) activities in accordance with the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP).
5. Implementing cost controls to manage project budgets effectively.
6. Utilizing software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Procore for design and project management.
7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including construction, procurement, and finance, to ensure project success.
8. Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
9. Keeping abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and incorporating them into your work.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this exciting role, you will need:

1. A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification would be an advantage.
2. A minimum of five years of experience in engineering, with a focus on energy, construction, municipalities, and schools.
3. Proven experience with savings calculations, solar energy, measurement, verification, M&V, IPMVP, and cost controls.
4. Strong design and commissioning skills, with experience using software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Procore.
5. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead projects from conception to completion.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels.
8. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
