An orthopedic practice near Newark, NJ is looking to add a full time Certified Physician Assistant. The PA will work 1:1 with a total joints physician to treat patients in the OR and clinic. Monday-Friday schedule, no call or weekend requirements. Licensed new graduates are encouraged to apply, previous experience in ortho preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients under the supervision of a physician
- Conduct physical examinations and obtain medical histories
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
- Prescribe medications and therapies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and their families about healthcare management and disease prevention

Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- State licensure as a Physician Assistant
- Familiarity with standards of care in various healthcare settings
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Some travel required to Essex and Bergen counties
