JSSA is hiring exceptional Mental Health Therapists/Counselors to expand our early childhood clinical services through providing Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). PCIT is an evidenced-based treatment for young children between the ages of 2.5 and 7 years old with behavioral problems. PCIT if conducted through “coaching” sessions with parents/caregivers with an emphasis on improving the quality of the parent-child relationship and changing the parent-child interaction pattern. Training in PCIT will be provided as well as ongoing supervision and consultation towards certification. In addition to providing PCIT services, this role will also provide office-based child and family therapy services. The position is a hybrid role providing both in person and virtual therapy services.

About you
• Familiar with a variety of modalities and feel confident integrating them into your treatment approach (DBT, CBT, EMDR, MI certification is a plus)
• Experience working with children, adolescents and their families
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Creative and engaging, especially over video!
• Must be available some evenings to meet the schedules of our clients
• Ability to provide services both in person at the office as well as virtually
Qualifications
• Master’s degree in mental health or related field and MD licensure
• Familiarity with and willingness to use cloud-based communication software—Outlook, Teams–in addition to EHR and outcomes survey software daily
• Independently licensed to practice as an LCSW-C, LCPC, or LMFT preferred but not required. Clinical supervision will be provided for LMSW and LGPC.
• Spanish speaking REQUIRED
Responsibilities:
• Performing intake and evaluation process (formulating psycho-social diagnosis and treatment plans) and implementing the treatment plan
• Implement PCIT model to fidelity
• Provide crisis intervention as needed
• Analyzing and evaluating the course and results of the treatment process
• Perform program-related case management
• Engage in caseload management to meet utilization requirements.
Pay range $85-$95 per session
