About the Role
The Company is seeking a Regional Vice President for its Built Environment Testing division. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive management of all technical, business, and administrative activities across a portfolio of laboratories in the Central Region of the United States. This role involves providing support to laboratory management, ensuring the quality, performance, and profitability of the laboratories, and contributing to company-wide initiatives for network optimization. The RVP will also be tasked with generating margin and revenue growth, managing financial performance, and fostering a positive work environment through effective communication and staff development.
Applicants must have a BS/BA degree in Chemistry or Business, with an MBA preferred, and at least 5 years of environmental laboratory management experience. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in managing a business with full P&L responsibility, as well as experience in lab testing operations, project management, and financial management. Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing multiple locations or departments, be adept at multitasking, and be able to function under high-stress environments.
