We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in the non-profit sector. This is a permanent position that offers an exceptional opportunity to be part of a team that drives strategic initiatives across the organization. The successful candidate will be instrumental in analyzing and optimizing business processes, defining requirements, delivering data-driven recommendations, and executing on strategic initiatives. This role requires a balance of technical acumen, business analytics, stakeholder management, and a broad understanding of the energy industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze complex business problems and assess how automated systems can be implemented to solve them.
2. Gather, document, and analyze business needs and requirements.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process automation and improvements.
4. Perform data analysis to support decision-making and provide insights into business performance.
5. Develop and deliver presentations to stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, findings, and recommendations.
6. Facilitate training sessions to enhance user competency and system utilization.
7. Conduct testing to ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
8. Lead and manage project teams to deliver on project objectives and timelines.
9. Utilize MS Excel and MS 365 Apps to perform data analysis and reporting.
10. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs and add value.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role, preferably in the energy industry.
3. Strong technical knowledge and experience with process automation.
4. Proficient in MS Excel and MS 365 Apps.
5. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Proven experience in data analysis and the ability to derive insights from complex data sets.
7. Excellent scripting and testing skills.
8. Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of leading project teams to deliver on objectives.
9. Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
10. Proven experience in stakeholder management and the ability to build strong relationships across the organization.
11. Ability to provide training and support to users.
12. Certification in Business Analysis is an asset.
