Your impact

We are excited to announce CCPRS won the next 5-year contract for Public Assistance Technical Assistance Contractors – PA TAC V in the West Zone! The West Zone includes Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, California, Arizona, Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Guam, Hawaii, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri.

If you want to join a company committed to you and your success, invest your technical expertise with us as a FEMA Engineer. Through CCPRS, Jacobs is looking for you to provide technical assistance support for FEMA disaster-related operations throughout the U.S. FEMA uses the PA TAC nationally to obtain Environmental Planners, Engineers, Construction Managers, Project Managers, Financial Analysts and other related professional services to assist state and local municipalities and public entities in developing grant applications for Federal Public Assistance funding for the repair of their infrastructure/facilities damaged by disasters (roads, bridges, hospitals, schools, water treatment facilities, parks etc.).

We're seeking Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Geotechnical and Coastal Engineers and Architects to help us deliver technical solutions for our client. As a FEMA Engineer, you'll manage the Public Assistance grant delivery process (from applicant assignment to exit briefing) for an average amount of eight (8) individual applicants simultaneously. The number of applicants will vary from approximately 1 to 15 depending on the number of projects and complexity of projects that an applicant claims. You'll ensure program delivery in a timely, professional, customer-centric manner that meets all assigned applicant's recovery priorities. You'll review information gathered during the preliminary damage assessment (PDA) for assigned applicants, then conduct exploratory calls to gather information from applicants using assigned templates. You'll also establish regular meetings with the applicant to facilitate the program delivery and recovery process, and schedule site inspections with the applicants, then coordinate them with the Site Inspector Task Force Leader. Most importantly, you'll actively participate in regular FEMA meetings by providing updates on work status, evaluate claims and make recommendations to FEMA as to whether the claim is eligible. Bring your technical expertise and passion for FEMA disaster recovery work, and we'll empower you to restore and improve our communities across the U.S.

For our FEMA client, qualified candidates must be U.S. citizens, able to clear Department of Homeland Security background check for security clearance level of "Public Trust", and open to working 8-12 hours per day for 5-6 days per week. Please Note This is an hourly paid position and is non-exempt.

We value collaboration and believe that in-person interactions are crucial for both our culture and client delivery.
