A shift leader is one who consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces the Chick-fil-A culture and has a servant's heart. They have a passion for serving others, have strong character, take initiative and work with a sense of urgency at all times. Shift leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of operational excellence. A shift leaders two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Shift leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Available Monday - Saturday
- Available between the hours of 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
- Previous restaurant/kitchen experience
- Previous leadership role in kitchen is preferred, but not required
- Able to multi-task and lead groups to accomplishing main goals and meeting standards
- Able to work in a fast-paced, often noisy and hot enviroment
In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have. Since the beginning, we've served chicken that is whole breast meat, with no added fillers or hormones, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants. Produce is delivered fresh to our kitchens several times a week. Salads are chopped and prepared fresh throughout the day. Whole lemons are freshly squeezed in our restaurants and combined with pure cane sugar and water (yep, that’s all) to make Chick-fil-A Lemonade®. It may not be the easy way, but it's the only way we know.
