Job Summary
Assists the Chaplin School Associate Director of College Recruiting and Recruiting Department in providing information to prospective students regarding the admission process and procedures. Supports the Chaplin School's enrollment goals and assists with the support and development of strategies and opportunities to enhance recruitment efforts.
- Assists with representing and promoting the Chaplin School's undergraduate and graduate program. Provides information to prospective students regarding the admission process and procedures.
- Assists the Recruitment Department in meeting enrollment target goals.
- Manages the Chaplin School Recruitment email account, maintaining oversight and adequate follow-up of inquiries via multiple communication forms including calling, texting, email, and other channels of communication.
- Manages inquires in the recruitment Salesforce database including adding new inquires and updating existing entries with newly acquired information. Reconfirm accuracy of information as received/processed.
- Assists with the coordination of recruitment fairs, conference and related outreach events; assists with coordinating event specific materials and organizational aspects.
- Represents the unit at specific recruitment events, such as school visits, campus tours, tabling events, student group initiatives, virtual presentations, etc.
- Follows up on prospective student inquires funneled from various university departments and sources, i.e., FIU Online, VisitDays database, website, marketing efforts, etc.
- Coordinates and tracks activities related to assigned recruitment projects, i.e. obtaining recruitment reports on a weekly and monthly basis in order to adequately assist with potential student inquiries
- Serves as a liaison between Chaplin School of Hospitality applicants and Office of Admissions, responding to inquiries, offering guidance on criteria and missing documents, and communicating with Admissions to expedite decision processing
- Works with the Registrar's Office to oversee the CSHTM Certificate Program, which includes answering inquiries, updating website content, and assisting with the application process.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 1 year of relevant experience or a Master's Degree.
