<div><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;font-family: Montserrat;">The Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) provides specialized physical therapy services to adults with developmental disabilities within Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) group home settings. Modifies home environments to ensure safety, reduce injury risk, and promote independence in daily living.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;font-family: Montserrat;">Trains direct care staff on proper use of assistive devices, mobility aids, and therapeutic techniques and home exercise regimes.<span> </span>Educates on body mechanics, fall prevention, and safety measures, including teaching new program staff members during orientation.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;font-family: Montserrat;">Assesses physical environments, ensuring safety equipment minimizes fall risks and enhances safety for individuals with disabilities.
