"I've worked for kay jewelers for over 10 years, I worked hard to make it to the top. This company isn't for employees that have kids. Kay jewelers will take a lot of your time and work if you want to make it in the company."
"While I only worked at Kay Jewelers for about 9 months, the skills I learned on the floor stick with me for life. Knowledgeable, friendly managers and a team of driven staff that worked together, not competed for numbers. Avoided conflict by building each other up. Great company, and an excellent experience."
"I have worked for my company since 2014, and I have enjoyed every moment. This company is very fast paced and lots to learn. There is and always will be something new to learn and or achieve as a goal. This location is also in a good place because it is very up and coming. If you are under the store manager you are able to receive commission plus hourly pay."
"I'm currently working for Kay Jewelers in the management capacity I have been with Kay’s for 5 1/2 years. Working with Kay’s I have recruited and trained up team members within my store to be promoted to store management positions within the company. Before working with Kay’s I was an employee of Belk and Company for just over 14 years I also successfully recruited in that position."
"They were a great place to work for. They always told you how good you were doing and how far you had come since you started. The people with more experience were money hungry so they would steal sales from people that did not know any better. Talking to the managers never did any good because he was not the right type of person to be a manager. He would bend the rules so they fit him when needed. When you went to him for a problem he would pretend like you never said anything to him just so he did not have to deal with confrontation. There were times that he would pick fun at some employees when they were not around. My relationship with most of my coworkers was really good. I never had a problem with some of them. Other ones were a little overbearing at times and would correct you if they felt like you needed to do something their way."
"I have 10 years experience in my field and only 6 months with my current company but it has been a great learning experience with new exciting challenges."
