"The work involves the safety of students living on campus, which is rewarding and fun. Interacting with Residence Hall staff and residents is informative and fun."

"Be honest with yourself and management as to whether you are truly up to the duties expected of the staff. Being able to keep calm and think clearly under pressure are a must."

What don't you like about working at Kent State University?

"Late night hours (8pm-4am) can be taxing and sometimes interfere with other responsibilities. Also, there occasionally be social drama between coworkers that makes team cohesion a challenge."

"Clear communication and consistent disciplinary action for employees that interfere with their coworkers' ability to perform their duties."
