"One of the worst company I worked for. In this organization, there is no consideration for women’s responsibilities as a mother/wife. When I missed a meeting in the evening (on a day when I had back to back 4 meetings and my sons exams were on) where I had no update to give, my American manager wanted to extend my probation period. When I brought this up with HR person, he was very sympathetic with me but in a meeting with this manager, on the same issue I was surprised to. See a totally different side of him. This HR person is a ‘Senior Manager’ in this firm. It just shows how the HR dept for the India office is also under the American managers and do not have the guts to stand up against them, let alone the local manager. Local manager never had a voice/opinion for his direct reports. I was asked to take Knowledge transfer from a person who is with the company since 14 years. This person would not show up at will for the meeting and never give any reasons for not coming for the meeting or sometimes reschedule the meeting just couple of minutes before the meeting time. It became a pattern. It looked like he took pleasure in harassing new joiners. I remember last time I missed a meeting, my American manager wanted to extend my probation period. You may have seen other good reviews about this firm, but this is my first hand experience with this organization. It went to such an extent that I quit before completing first year at this firm."
"I've been with Kimberly Clark for a while now. The atmosphere in the office is relaxed. The dress is business casual where you can wear jeans and a polo or professional top. There is limited career growth opportunity in Finance at the Roswell location, given that Corporate Finance is located in Dallas, TX."
"Hello I've worked for Kimberly Clark Corporation for less than a year full time. I had the pleasure of working for this company as a intern in 2009-2010. KC overall mission is very important to its employees. As a company we are fueling growth and securing the future for our 42,000 employees."
"Excellent product in personal care sector"
"great workers. good benefit. free gym."
"over all good company, health concioius and smoke free, very high on safety"
"Great career development program for young process engineering co-ops who are are still in college. I was paired with a fantastic mentor who guided me throughout the summer and was able to help on a daily basis as well as with my career development goals. Overall I had a great experience working for Kimberly-Clark."
"What once was a great company, Kimberly-Clark cannot seem to get out of its own way. Sales does not understand what Marketing is trying to do and Marketing thinks that Sales is not doing their job. Coming up with a way to outsmart the competition only outsmarted themselves. Sometimes all a company needs to do is make and sell great products. KC forgot that a long time ago."
"I have worked at Kimberly Clark for a short time. In the short time, there are many facilities within this city. The facility that I am currently at, the people are very helpful and very kind. The teammates know how to get along having a strong value of this characteristic. This is an older generation that currently works here so there will be some turnover the next couple of years. Overall, its a great place to work if you are an employee here. If you a contractor, you don't receive the same kind of benefits and are excluded on many things for the regular employees. As far as technology goes, it's OK. It's average, but most of the work is done in India."
"Heavy layoffs in all business sectors."
