"Hard work is not appreciated at Macy's. The work environment is reminiscent of high school, where managers' favorite employees advance in the company regardless of merit or experience. The pay is atrocious for such thankless work. Employee morale is often low. It's a great place to work for the holidays as a temp. Outside of this, a career at Macy's should be avoided at all costs."
