What do you like about working at General Electric?
"The people I worked with and the knowedge I gained. I got to work with highly intelligent people and I learned a great deal from them"
What don't you like about working at General Electric?
"To much red tape and bueracracy. It was closed to working for the government. It was very difficult to put something new into use without a lot of approvals"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"That they shouldn't have shut the office there down but instead installed more discipline on their employees"

"They are a good company to work for but you must be a professional."

"Avoid at all costs and do not waste your time. There are better opportunities out there."
What do you like about working at 4sight Technologies?
"The customer, otherwise 4Sight as a company did nothing for them. I tried. Management would lie to the customer, which is unforgivable."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Do not bother. Hernan and Ian will make promises that they never plan to keep and they will discard you when least expect without warning or any type of severance. Avoid at all costs."
What don't you like about working at 4sight Technologies?
"Business development plans never became reality. Lied about position and future of the business. Low pay. No opportunities for advancement."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Complete management overhaul. Hernan and Ian have no clue as to how to run a company."
What do you like about working at Heim Bearing Co.?
"I was afforded the autonomy to implement the new processes without hindrances from of members of management."
What don't you like about working at Heim Bearing Co.?
"No opportunity for advancement in this company. Very stagnant staffing, therefore limiting possibility to advance."

"Milwaukee is the most awesome company anyone could have to start out their career. Unfortunately, it has sold and closed most US operations. Very challenging and very rewarding. Ahead of their time in successful continuous improvement projects."
What do you like about working at Milwaukee Electric Tool?
"The attitude at Milwalee is Can Do, and always proved to be true. We underwent total transformation from straight line manufacturing to cellular, dismantled the warehouse and went to JIT/KAN BAN, and material delivered to POU. I was trained in all areas of this transformation and also wrote the manual and trained the other Madter Schedulers."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If you can get on at one of the remaing production facilities in the US, just stay abreast of the company objective to make sure the facility will not be moving to China."
What don't you like about working at Milwaukee Electric Tool?
"I left Milwaukee to move to a bigger city for better opportunity for my daughter. I cannot think of one thing that is negative about Milwaukee Tool."

"Although Management preaches the importance of the Employee, the reality of it is quite different."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If you are being interviewed for the process engineer or buyer/planner positions, they will only be temporary. I believe they usually only last about 18 months."
What don't you like about working at Brookwood Companies?
"Management was very good to hourly employees and those that were in their circle. Other Employees were not treated well, asked to work many extra hours unecessarily because they did not manage their time well. Two positions in the Company were revolving door positions even though it cost the Company many hours and dollars to continuously train the positions. Salaried employees were not treated in any manner, good or bad, but the hourly personnel were able to get bonuses based on performance of the production floor."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Honesty with ALL employees. Let employees know if they are doing their jobs well or not frequently, not when you surprisingly lay them off."

"The economy has forced this company to send most of the manufacturing to Poland or China to reduce costs."

"Find a way to reduce costs and keep the work in the United States."

"Do not get low-balled on offer - if working operations work/life balance will be in the toilet. HR here is horrendous when it comes to backing personnel."
