"The supervisors and managers of the SCN/ NICU were fabulous. Further, the experienced RN staff members were always eager and willing to share their knowledge in an effort to aid in the growth of other RN's on the unit. Teamwork was evident throughout the unit and contributed to the effectiveness of patient care, patient outcomes and the overall success of unit function."

"Interview as yourself and make your own decision."

"The manager was a micromanager and appeared to be a bigot. She was eventually promoted. There was incredible turnover in this department of people of color with and without notice. (I am not a person of color.)"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Look at the turnover rate in departments. Perform exit interviews (there were no exit interviews performed)."

"The flexibility with hours. The positive encouragement I receive from supervisors as well as from peers that I am charge over for the day."

"listen to how your employers are feeling. And even though they might not be able to change something, words of support do help."
