4.9 I worked for NOVA Chemicals as a mechanical engineering intern. The work was very interesting, and I was involved in a lot of projects that you don't expect to work on as an intern. It was also one of the few companies where the interns do actual engineering work and not just project management related tasks. The people are also very nice and very willing to help you learn.

Corporate management would use our facility as a training ground for managers, then more them to other plants. There was never any consistency.

3.8 Its been a year working for NOVA, and so far I have no complaints. They take care of the people that work for them. There is adequate work-life balance and everyone at work is generally nice. There are lots of learning opportunities, you just have to have an open mind.
