What do you like about working at Novogradac & Co.?

"I thought it would be a good opportunity to become more familiar with email marketing. That's why I took a several thousand dollar pay cut when I accepted the position. It did have some good points, not so much the work but during busy season the management gave employees free Friday lunch to encourage the accountants to stay in the office."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I worked in the marketing department, so maybe the accounting department is different."

What don't you like about working at Novogradac & Co.?

"work environment was horrible. not the physical conditions, but culture was awful. Given, company structure is going to be very rigid and hierarchical as it is an accounting office, but input outside of what supervisor wanted to hear was not valued. For example, I had issues with a review of my work, brought the issue to my supervisor, who then conveniently started suddenly finding many faults with my performance which initiated the process that led to my termination. I sensed which way the wind was blowing, started looking for another opportunity, and management tried on a few occasions to sabotage interviews. great work environment..."
