"For the most, I've enjoyed working for this company."
What do you like about working at ODC Nimbus?
"Hands on experience in different areas of the business. This included testing and troubleshooting the electronics and mechanics to the component level, writing ECRs and ECOs to correct the problem areas. Performing incoming inspection, which gave a better understanding of fabricated parts; that is, there may be limits to how well a part can be fabricated. Performing some CAD operations and writing procedures was good."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Do your best. This is a specialized industry which much of the experience learned may not be applicable in a more traditional industry."
What don't you like about working at ODC Nimbus?
"I was not particularly fond of field service work and the use of my personal vehicle. Downsizing meant more work for those still there, and it became more difficult to maintain a good quality standard."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"My first 10 years was great. Much of the company operated very professionally. Management seemed to care about their employees."
