What do you like about working at Inova Health System?
"I enjoy the patient contact and also my co-workers along with my Boss.Everyone was a team player and that's what made the smoothness go well in the emergency room. Of cause, we had our bad days that we dealt with, again, team workers pulled together to get what need to be done.."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If I ran into someone who is going to work at Alexandria, and they ask me how it is here, I will be honest and tell them first of all you will be working around multi-personalities. They will know if you're a fit. IF they ask questions about you, give answers you want them to know. Co-workers are noisy."
What don't you like about working at Inova Health System?
"There is only one thing that you say is good, to me it's not. You have to be able to keep up with your registrations in the emergency. It's a fast work place. At times one person is assigned to only do squads. S 3-4 come in you have to walk with the EMT person get their sheet and ID. You must register quickly in order to give sheet to squad and stickers for the Dr. Fast pace, but I like it because you are always busy."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would be more like my manager in the Alexandria hospital. If I was the higher running the show, you best believe that some of the managers from different departments would have to learn some of the other managers' work."
