Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Find out as much as you can about the manager you will be reporting to. I found out after the fact that there were several, other employees who had problems with this manager, and they had to demand a change in management or they would've resigned, unfortunately, I found this out too late."
What don't you like about working at Professional Hospital Supply?
"Field Sales Management is unprofessional, prone to bias and favoritism, and extremely judgmental regarding commission earnings (sales reps are supposed to transition to commission once their commissions exceed their guarantee, however, it does not happen automatically, they attempt to not pay you the commissions you've earned, and they protect their friends, by allowing them to stay on the guarantee beyond the 12 month limit prescribed in the employment contract. They require you to pay for your own samples and/or arrange for free goods from other suppliers be credited against the cost of in-house supplied samples/prototypes."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Take a closer look at the people you have managing your sales force, as, (one in particular) does not have the best interests of PHS at heart. He is deceitful, dishonest with customers, and maintains his own ethics and standards regarding good business standards & practices. If cornered and caught in his own lies and mistruths he will blame everyone except himself."
