"Everything about my experience at The Providence Journal was outstanding. You couldn't ask for a better IT Director and staff. The work environment and end users were very friendly and fun. Unfortunately, due to the decline of printed media, opportunities for employment are very minimal and a future with the company is very uncertain."

"Providence is a non-profit mission based company, The company actively promotes and supports community events, the regional management highly encourages the staff to give back to the community but not on company time.The upper management does attempt to make decisions geared towards keeping their staff and avoiding layoffs/redundancies, sometimes the methods can be a little severe though."
