"I have worked for Raytheon Mission Solutions in Pasadena, CA since 2001 and found it to be innovative and satisfying place to work. The fast paced technical and web development work kept the staff energized and motivated and frequent All-Hands Meetings and Corporate Sponsored Events made the work environment feel comfortable and more intimate than most large scale companies. The JPL customer insured that there were constantly new challenges to tackle and new web media to create. All in all…. a great place to work!"

Working at Raytheon in Fullerton, CA: 30 Employee Reviews

Systems Test Engineer

"I have been with Battlefield Radar for about two years and I enjoy my job and I am just currently looking for bigger and better opportunities than what I currently have. Most of my experience has been with Systems, Integration and Testing, starting with requirements, writing test procedures and running the procedures to ensure software and hardware running correctly and validating the requirements. We want to ensure that the customers needs are all met."

"I've worked at Raytheon for about half a year now. They've been a great company to work for. I've learned a lot in my time there. And though there are time when my supervisor is giving me a task to do, most of the time I am given the opportunity to determine for myself what the most important task is for the day."

"Company is divided in two groups which are management and technical people. Once program is done, the management would not hesitate to lay off any technical people. The management believes that technical people are easy to be replaced. The review processes are very negative. The management always wants to find fault in any person. The technology is not advanced in the company."

"I've worked for Raytheon since 2009 and have found that there many counter-productive and bureaucratic policies that often prevent me from doing a job efficiently. The people in the company are great and there are many benefits to working for such a large company. But it's extremely easy to get overburdened by process."

"Raytheon is a technology leader and offers a wide range of jobs. At the same time, some programs within the company are becoming stale or losing budget. This makes it very disheartening due to the lack of pay raises, better positions, and the extra work load that is needed to make on from the lack of hiring. Not all programs are in the same situation."

"Excellent"

What do you like about working at Raytheon?

Older manager are not only very competent, confident, but also had a mentoring, fatherlike mentality not found anywhere in the world ( Ihave been in 88 countries mind you). Professional atmosphere, human are treated like human and teamwork in the 2nd best after my US Marines experience."

"Be honest, ask fo rthe chain of command and pick the group with the oldest manager possible, they have integrity."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"With big contracts coming in , hiring was rushed and management did not carefully pick new generation of managers resulting in a slow change to destruction of the once wonderful truly American company."
