"Valeant offers no job security or compassion for employees."
What do you like about working at Valeant Pharmaceuticals?
"I worked for a company acquired by Valeant. The original company was great - Valeant is not. There is no job security (4 rounds of lay-offs in 4+ years by Valeant, while the original had none in 31 years). Valeant's benefits are O.K., but the insecurity overrides all strengths. They grant stock, but good luck lasting long enough to receive it."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Do not interview. NO job is safe at Valeant. I do not recommend working here."
What don't you like about working at Valeant Pharmaceuticals?
"Lies by management, job insecurity and a total lack of R&D. Valeant innovates by buying more companies."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Be very honest with companies that are bought regarding lay-offs and plans. Stop lying about plans, how decisions are made and what the future holds."

"The casual atmosphere and no weekend or shift work. Being able to get any equipment needed to get the job done."

"Just be yourself, and understand this is a small town comapny with a small town mentality."

"The us vs them kind of attitude. The engineering staff seems to feel the chem lab staff are inferior."

"make everyone feel like they are on the same team. Dont selectively leave people out just beause they are not in the engineering dept."

"Unethical. Micromanaging. First to market trumped all other priorities including quality."
