"Zero communication between teams, tons of restructuring constantly and refreshes of the entire product development team (mostly due to people leaving because they hate their jobs). No regard for the work the product development team does either, which makes any role on that team incredibly disheartening. In addition, compensation is completely lowballed and negotiating is incredibly difficult."
"Mobile protection is a highly competitive, commoditized space. Speck was one of the few companies that was able to make a name for itself and standout from the pack. It's come a long way and had its challenges. As part of Samsonite, it's going to have a difficult time continuing to grow while outpacing the competition."
"I worked at Speck products for three and a half years. During my time there the company quadrupled in size. They hire very smart people that are amazing to work with. I am very proud of the products we created and am proud the teams that accomplished them. Because of the quick growth, there are growing pains that kept the company from being as successful as it could have been.
