"Staples way under pays, and to give an example, they started selling cell phones they started the employees off with $10.00 hr. plus commission per phone sold ($35) they had no duties but to sell phones. As a resident tech I had to put merchandise away, help customers, repair computers, sell computer repair services, back up register and copy center for $9.25 hr. I started at $8.50 hr. and after 5 years only reached the $9.25 hr. Yet new hires and cell phone sales were making $9.50/$10.00 plus commission. So pay was grossly unfair."
