"My prior job at Stream Global Services was a valuable experience that has helped in more ways than one. I learned through their one on one coaching sessions, where a supervisor would listen to my calls and offer constructive criticism. This way I was able to observe the behavior and learn from it. In this way I became very good at my job, and I eventually became a team lead where I was able to do the same thing and help others succeed."
"Great place to work."
"Working for Stream was a privilege and fun place to work. They were good to their employees and seemed to genuinely care. High support for their employees being that classes can be took if an employee has a problem or does not have the needed skill for the work. And lastly you get a great satisfaction from helping the customers Stream provides support too."
"Stream is a growing company with opportunity for growth."
"Over all it was a good place to work, But I had trouble helping customers over the phone with devices I was not really knowledgeable about. It was for Apple and although they gave us some training with the subject I had never used any of the devices before and that made it difficult sometimes to help customers."
"It's a call center. Doing business class support for (mostly) non technical people. Though I may not find this environment particularly fulfilling, I know that the end user needs this kind of assistance. The support reps are able to forever affect the way the client is publicly viewed by doing a work and going above and beyond."
"I worked at Stream since July 2010 and left the company last April 2013."
"I worked for Stream since 2007 and found it a different environment then what I'm used to. I had never worked at a call center before. Through my time there I found out more about myself and where I wanted to go with my life and career."
"As a call center it's not that bad. The best thing about the job are your coworkers, they're all very friendly and get along well. Having to talk to customers all day gets tedious fast but as an entry level job It's one of the best places I've worked yet."
"I have worked with Stream since September of 2011, and since I have worked there I have gained an enormous amount of experience and confidence in myself as far as the everyday life as well as the Salesforce CRM. I am always motivated by management as well as pushed to better myself in all aspects of my professional and personal well being. It is regrettable I will be leaving the company but I look forward to the next chapter in my professional life."
"Old workstations running XP. Single monitors when two would enhance productivity. No UPS on workstations and the building generator takes too long to kick in leading to crashes of the phone system and all workstations. Not enough time allocated per call to allow complete resolution; the push was to get off the call by ordering parts or having the customer do something that would take an extended amount of time."
"I worked for Stream Global Services in Watertown, NY since 2009. During this time I was able to earn my 201, 301 and 401 certifications. The people that I worked with were wonderful and I will miss them."
"Stream is a good place to work. Very fun, exciting and motivational."
"I worked for Global Stream Services for 13 years, and was terminated due to what they call poor job performance. The performance standard is based on client customer satisfaction survey. The Client wanted an 85% top box return (8 or 9), I did not meet this goal for the month, and was terminated, although I resolved most customers issues."
