"Great company but difficult to work at."
"I've worked for Thermo Fisher Scientific since 2012 when we were Patheon and hadn't been acquired by Thermo yet. Working in the Pharmaceutical Development Services group was great and has been the best work experience in my career. The Commercial side can be very revenue-focused, sometimes at the expense of quality."
"Great people, wonderful company that does a good for the world at large, my only concern is at the corporate level more interested in financial growth than locale sustainability."
"ThermoFisher is a great company with a wide variety of different manufacturing, development, and research capabilities. There are a multitude of tasks that can be tackled at any time."
"I worked for Thermo Fisher for little over a year. There are many different departments. There's finance, marketing, and business. Then there is engineers, and then there is the assembly line. Being in close contact with the assembly line and getting a hands on experience was probably my favorite part of the hob."
"Management lacks knowledge and experience of the business they are running. Enforcement of policies is very difficult due to resistance of high management"
"Thermofisher is great to work for with a good team environment. Strong leadership with great communication. I have had the opportunity to learn about the different departments with gaining much experience in the Lab and Procurement department."
"good company to work. There mission matters."
"Overall a good organization to work for however, way too much executive leadership turnover."
"Excellent company to work for."
"Thermo Fisher Scientific is a great company."
"Great place to work with a lot of upward mobility. Diversity an inclusion is a focus and priority which is something that resinates with me on a personal level."
"In my most recent position as a Staff Scientist with Thermo Fisher Scientific, (Carlsbad) I was involved in all aspects of manufacturing the ProtoArray™ protein microarray. This included the production of the more than 9,000 cloned human proteins from insect cell cultures, protein purification and final printing of the proteins onto the array all done using state of the art instrumentation. I also was the lead in the services program where I interacted with large Pharma customers to run assays with their serum or small molecule samples on the array. The large data sets produced from these assays were distilled down into high-quality technical reports focused on biomarker identification for our customers. This whole process was done under GMP standards in an ISO certified environment. I have expertise in quality systems and design of experiments (DOE) utilization in a V&V application."
"Great company with a strong work culture"
"Great team work for a small remote site."
