4.5 Legendary brand that suffered from a lack of succession planning and go forward plan at time of buyout. Ultimately the lack of consistent leadership, changing brand direction, and lack of market awareness pre 2016 caused the company to stumble. From 2016 onward the shift in direction helped fuel a new energy giving birth to the nations first 4K Live Streaming Concert Studio in Nashville, Wireless speaker products, and significant move to reposition the Thiel brand for the future. However 2017 move to change CEO and as a result restructure leadership once again left the company in a bad position as all those knowledgeable were gone. New leadership walked away form relationships, tossing them aside for a more ego driven marketing effort that was DOA, and the uncontrolled spending with no revenue being generated under the new leadership forced the closure of the company in 2018 and bankruptcy in 2019.
