4I've worked at UBC since 2013. I found it to be a modern and vibrant campus. UBC is a strong and world wide recognized university with strong ethical values and a highly professional academic work force.
4.5The University of British Columbia is a great, research emphasized, university that has helped me kindle motivation and ambition towards finding my true niche. Having programs, such as the UBC Forestry Program, Conservation Capstone Research and to be taught by world renowned professors kindles a multi-disciplinary approach towards solving regional and global resource issues.
4.1I have worked for the UBC bookstore for 5 months now. I like the workplace culture at the store since it not only believes but also delivers exceptional customer service. It delivers a vast range of products and services to all students, faculty, and visitors on campus. The pay rate is exceptional too along with other benefits and union membership offered at the store. However, it might not be a great fit for someone looking to grow ambitiously up in the company.
