"Unisys treats employees as a number. Training was removed and bonuses have been cut also."

"Invest in your employees and treat them as an asset, not a number."

"Onsite tech, therefore a lot of driving."

"It was fun driving but after months you will get tired of driving, other than that it was fun working hands on PCs and laptops."

"You should like traveling and driving because that is what you will do majority of the DAY!"

"DRIVING, I would cover majority part of San Jose, therefore sometimes I HATE going for SF downtown."

"They should manage more responsibly ticket schedules and give more time to go onsite."

"It was my first tech support job while still in school and it was very eye opening."

"They are very hard to get into and you must be willing to work very hard."

"They promised certification help and never delivered on that promise."

"I do not know what to say to this as I never had contact with the upper management."

"The company was well known and reputable in certain industries. Good investments were made into the infrastructure."

"Understand the future direction of the company and not base your expectations on the past."

"The instability I experienced for a company that was this size."

"If you are going to invest the amounts you do in future planning, stick with those plans once you implement them."

"The people. It was a contract job so I didn't get to meet anyone."

"I wish I had something to say but when you do contract work its hard to get to know anyone."

What do you like about working at Unisys?

"I really liked the people I worked with. They were a great bunch of guys and definitely had a feeling of watching out for each other and helping everyone excel."

"You have to work extremely hard to get ahead in the company. You will probably gain responsibilities but no additional upward movement of your position or compensation. But if you have pride in your work it can be rewarding."

What don't you like about working at Unisys?

"This was the only account that Unisys had in the state of Indiana. So unfortunately we were so far out of the loop with Unisys we got overlooked for a lot of company things... benefits, gratitude, etc."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Give credit where credit is due... I don't necessarily mean money... I mean that a Thanks! and Good job! go a long way with people."

"Research and development: learned a lot about OO programming, Java, C#, etc."

"Depends on the department that you will be working for."

What don't you like about working at Unisys?

"Hardware company that dragged software development along to sell the hardware."

"Nothing: they shut down entire divisions in California and are trying to survive."

"Wasted 2 years there, no pay increase and no opportunity for growth, and no support when you had a question."
