"Working for the US Army for over 16 years working in multiple MOSs. The job has its up and downs just like other major companies. Compensation for the job doesn’t match other major companies unfortunately. Great job for someone who likes to travel all over the world."

"The rewards here at AMRDEC are for knowledge and experience, if you can talk a good game and get in, it's hard to get you out."
What don't you like about working at United States Army?
"It is super boring. A lot of tedium to deal with. The job isn't really fulfilling."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would improve training and mentoring by restructuring the former to lay everything on a single track and put in place a formal system for the latter."
"My experience has been challenging and rewarding in the Alabama National Guard."

"The thing I like about serving in the military, is the discipline and respect I have gained."

"Think before enlisting into the military, do not just jump into it."

"There is not really anything I dislike about working for the Alabama National Guard except that it is not full time."

"I have no suggestions for management, my Officers and NCOs do their jobs."
"I was enrolled in school full time which added stress. Not a highly technical group."
