"I do believe that working for youth villages in TN might be a better experience. If you applying for a job in NC at youth villages DON'T. The interview process is very misleading, and I promise it will be the wrong decision."

What don't you like about working at Youth Villages?

"there is very little to no appriciation for the hard work put into the job. Expectations are to great to fit into a work week resulting in 16 hour days, and weekend work. Employees are not valued and are treated horrible. Working for youth villages is stressful, and allows no time for self."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Start caring and respecting the work counselors do. working long days and weekends with no sign of appriciation causes for a miserable work experience. Management in NC come accross as rude, disrespectful, and caring to the needs and concerns of their employees."
