"Great people and work environment. Training was good. Rewards and bonus were good. Overall an excellent place to work."

"No, it's been a few years. So, I'm sure things have changed since I interviewed with BMC."

What don't you like about working at BMC Software?

"When I was with BMC there were constant layoffs. It was a drip drip drip approach to finding the right size for the company. This created a drain on the people and a distraction as everyone was constantly on the phone with headhunters and on interviews to be prepared for the next round of layoffs."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Try and do layoffs less frequently. A larger layoff is better than two small rounds of layoffs."

"BMC is a slave-driver, they hire and turn over more people than other companies - get 'em in, push 'em hard, and burn 'em out should be their motto. Don't go to work for this company at all cost! It's NOT what it appears to be!!"

"Roll over management, this company only focuses on how to make the money at all cost, even at the cost of their employees health!"
