"I've worked for Macy's for about 4 years now and while it's a great place to work with new technologies and with empowerment, too many reorganizations and changes make it a very difficult place to work where the ground keeps shifting."
"Macy's was a great place to work or at least my team was, but also heard of stories where some other teams were not so great."
"Lots of opportunity for development. I had 5 jobs in the 4 years I was there, each a promotion."
"The company is always looking for ways to keep up with the ever-changing market, listening to what the customers want and implementing new programs to help make the customers experience a great one."
"Great company to work for"
"Macy's has been good to me for nearly 6 year, but I do feel underpaid."
"Always excited to be a part of Macys. Worked on Mobile apps, with latest technologies and learnt a lot from working at Macys."
"I have been working in Macys for the past 4.5 years and feel it's a wonderful company anybody can ask for, due to strong ethical values and opportunities and flexible work culture."
"I worked for Macys Technology for over 20 years and found the company to be a great place to work with many talented associates. The ability to learn and grow was made available to all associates. The company provided a great work environment. I would recommend the company to any technical person."
"I worked here for less than one year and the SF office was suddenly closed. But, I enjoyed working here with a great team and challenging projects."
"I have worked with Macy's for the past two years and I find it becoming a lean company to cut costs. The current top level leadership has not been showing results and not focusing in digital part of the business fully instead they continue to spend on the physical stores even now. Sales in digital channels (desktop & mobile) had been growing exponentially and it was mainly due to the talented engineers out of San Francisco office. Well now they decided to shut it down and lay off the staff so not sure how Macy's is going to survive with a new team that's been setup with fresh college graduates who have no experience dealing with high paced retail technology development and able to handle situations during key sale days."
"I've worked at macys for 3 years, a great place to gain experience and start your career"
"I've worked for Macy's since 2015 officially, and while it was great to start off there and experience the technical side of the business involving supply chain, there wasn't a whole lot of technological growth happening until the last year. I hope the growth continues, despite all the layoffs and restructuring that's been happening."
"I have been working for Macys since 6 years, and made my good growth in career and had a good relationship with coworkers. Nice place to work and learn new technologies based on the area you work on."
"Fantastic, would recommend to anyone."
