"I have been working for zions Bank since 2019. It brings value to individuals through its wide range of traditional banking and innovative technology services"
"I worked at Zions bank for about 4 years, I was an IT support specialist. I was tasked to supporting all IT related needs in my company, from Microsoft issues, server support, you name it, our IT dept. provided, remote, phone, chat, to resolve these Issues for all internal employee's. It was a great job, got to talk to different people, and resolve their issues with a 90% percent rating. its not for everyone, and it was difficult at times but it is a career that got me to where I am today, and the people is what made it fun."
"Good place to work with opportunities for growth"
"I've worked for Zions Bank for over 9 years and believe and support the statement that "we know who keeps us in business". Zions Bank consistently wins more industry awards than our competition because we believe in knowing and supporting our customers. Zions Bank works very hard to create diversity and to treat all of their employees equally. The culture is one of inclusion, supporting everyone who joins the organization."
"I have worked with Zions Bank for over 17 years with highly talented designers, copywriters, social media managers and corporate leaders. The marketing goals were to strengthen relationships with existing clients and developed a strong new client base."
"Stable company with awesome coworkers, but not much workplace culture."
"I've worked as a teller here at Zions Bank for quite a while, and have come to know several tellers, FSRs and CSMs quite well, and I have seen that Zions treats the majority of their 'lower down' employees like simple numbers, to be subtracted and added from their workforce at will. They give no second thought to terminating an honest, faithful employee after they've made one or two simple mistakes. Plus, their software in their computers is from the 90's. enough said, it doesn't work."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be carefull, the bank asks for feedback, but it is used against you if its negative. when you are approaching the age of 60 make sure you have a good back up plan. When promoting its common amoung regional and senior management that they are looking for younger lower paid employees instead of older more experienced higher paid employees."
What don't you like about working at Zions Bank?
"The company first layoffs in 5 years came 2 weeks prior to christmas last year. Any the employees who got laid off all got letters from CEO and President, wishing them a Merry Christmas and Joyous New Year. As metioned there is an EVP who is a knows sex offender at the bank but all turn a blind eye. The bank has serious nepotism problems. Most of the up and comers are son's, daughters, brothers, sisters, neices and nephews."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would be honest with the employees. I would not tell employees they were the most important concern I had and then act suprised when I found out over 100+ Employess laid off. I would stand up to the EVP's if any were violating the sexual harrassment policies I would fire them. If any were creating an unconfortable work enviorment I would correct the problem."

What don't you like about working at Zions Bank?
"Several back-stabbing, self-serving executives in the retail division. Whenever there is a problem their first objective is to assign blame and then figure out a solution. One Retail EVP manages by fear alone and is often referred to as Saddam. He actually brags about firing people to his inner circle. Honestly, I would have rather worked for the real Saddam. The other EVPs often take credit for things they had nothing to do with and then use them to promote themselves for national awards and recognition."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Break the management by fear and intimidation habit. Reach out and communicate to employees (at least direct reports) on a personal level. Put an end to the blame-storming sessions and make an effort to truly understand why the problem occurred and how to fix it going forward. Also, stop back-stabbing people in meetings when there are people they work with or vendors in the meeting!"
