"Overall, Caleres is a good company to work for. I truly enjoy the camaraderie with the people on my team. However, the areas needing improvement are with leadership and career development. There is a tremendous disconnect between leadership and the hard-working, talented people who accomplish the day-to-day. Poor management has led to high turn-over in certain departments and the company culture is suffering. Additionally, there isn't a solid process for performance evaluation or career growth. Aside from the aforementioned roadblocks, I enjoy my job and I've valued my time at Caleres."
