Staff Accountant

"I was a consultant for them but it was not a friendly environment and full-time employees were miserable."

What do you like about working at Capario?

"I loved working with the Accounting Manager, Michelle Lyons. She is the type of manager who likes to give you items to work on the you may not be familiar with and guide you on how to tackle to task. I learned SO VERY much from her and couldn't thank her more for believing in me to succeed."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't interview here, you deserve better."

What don't you like about working at Capario?

"The controller does not make a hospitable environment. There is no positive feedback depsite how hard everyone works and only mistakes are pointed out. There are comments made by the controller when someone has a doctor's appointment or if there is a sick child at home. For example, and this is no exaggeration, the controller said Oh, my dog is sick, I guess I better stay home with him. Everyone who works in the accounting/finance department is looking to find another place of employment."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Hire a new controller who can motivate staff instead of belittle and threaten them."
