"Make us you like the person you will work for. Even if you are an exceptional scientist, if your manager doesn't fight for you, you will never be promoted. Also, make sure you respect his/her science as your name will be attached to any work produced."

"Beaurocracy, inability to make common sense changes. No one is properly promoted. Am continuously denied promotion despite rating as a top employee and exceeding all job qualifications. Feel unappreciated and overworked."
