Companions & Homemakers Employee

"I know that you are probably still going to take a job at this company because it was offered to you and the job description sounded really great at the time. So nothing I can say now will change your mind because you will want to believe them when, C&H tells you these reviews are all untrue during your two weeks of training and that it takes a good six months before you will have a handle on this job. So I am addressing this review of this company to the future you who will look back at this and realize you have not lost your mind, are suddenly incompetent, un-trainable and not a team player and that the “six months before you will be adept at this job” speech they gave you is forgotten. That the rules did change daily and that you were held accountable for errors that you were never properly trained for. And yes, that includes the smallest trivial infraction of breathing while looking up a client while on the phone or taking too long to dial a number. That yes, you were thrown into a phone mosh pit with managers listening to your every word, while you are getting emails telling you the higher ups are demanding you make more calls. Where bringing your cell phone into the office is grounds for immediate dismissal, that is unless it’s your manager who will be on hers during working hours in between her 1½ or more hour’s lunch breaks. That yes, they tried to pit you against your coworkers with snide remarks behind your back and that the managers encouraged it. That the open door policy you first heard about will get you on the fast track out the door. And yes, you will find yourself attacked and bullied for even bringing a concern up. That the daily stress and intimidation you felt was very real and that the best day out of all of your experiences with this company will be the day you walk out the front door and never look back."
