1A manager told me about a "payroll position" becoming available. My job title never changed to Payroll Coordinator, even though she said she would inquire about it with HR. Took on the primary responsibilities of a payroll coordinator, although my job title stayed the same as a Billing Coordinator. The job description phrase "other duties/projects as assigned" leaves the loop hole for management to off load excessive work on to your remain duties. Another Manager also told me she would teach me Spanish to assist with phone queues. I expressed I was not bilingual. I also wasn't given the CHOICE to choose whether I wanted to speak Spanish or not. This person also told me to participate in groups chats such as "Payroll-Girls". Why does the name of chat have to be gender/***sex*** based? Isn’t Cross Country inclusive? Instead of her telling me about instant responses being needed on this chat, she sent me a message about lack of participation in this chat. She never expressed upon my training with her that this chat was indeed a priority. Such lack of communicated on her part. I expressed all these concerns to the an HR representative and OMG her behavior was that of workplace violence. She called me insubordinate in an email and verbally in a video call. She also didn't give me the opportunity to speak without her constantly interrupting me. I calmly asked her to stop interrupting me, she ignored my request. Unbelievable. I'm astounded by this poor behavior of a HR representative. I wrote about my experiences in my 90 day hire review on DayForce and ironically I was terminated the next day. Was not surprised at all by this retaliation.
1.7Very poorly ran sales department with sketchy leadership. SVP is completely rogue and has very poor communication and judgment. The team has very low morale, especially after so many top producers have left for the competition repeatedly over the last year/year and a half. Not only is sales leadership incompetent in terms of knowledge of staffing industry, but also is suspected amongst team of interfering with internal complaints and HR issues. As a public company, it is alarming the type of stunts some of the management is trying to pull.
