"They are a good company to work with but they lack as far as taking care of employees. I felt disconnected with corporate for all of my time there."
"Delex Systems has been a great company over the last 15 years. In comparison to most companies, they are very employee oriented and went above the norm in assisting economically downsized employees in their transition. I would enjoy working for them again. The only issue I ever had with Delex was the occasional lack of responsible middle management leadership at my contract location."

What do you like about working at Delex Systems?
"At first the knowledge I gained and what I learned, though after 4-6 months I stopped learning as much and the work became drudgery..."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If you feel you have few job prospects, Delex can be worth a shot, as long as you don't stay with the company too long and stagnate. Ask for as much as you possibly can get since they will shoot as LOW as they can go. My mistake was starting low in the 1st place thinking they'd give me a fair raise due to performance. I had to fight for my meager $37,000!"
What don't you like about working at Delex Systems?
"The pay is very low compared to market value/other companies, there is no career growth at all, it is a poor place to work unless you are just starting out. And tasks are menial for junior developers; basically same thing day-in-day out, no creative allowance, no consideration for what your interests are...Also employees are in on how low they are paid, the environment was often uncomfortable because of how upset some people were by their salaries. This shouldn't happen in a workplace, employee ethics would slack and security measures would drop because people became more and more relaxed due to their not taking delex seriously. Many lower employees felt frustrated since few respected their opinion and they had no growth potential."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"A LOT. Listen to your employees, don't play the pass-off game (i.e. either not answering or passing to one person, who passes you to another person, who passes you back to original person). People catch onto such games quickly. Consider asking for more money in regards to contracts so you can pay your employees more. Being a debt free company isn't always a good thing when you don't take any risks! Research and development, HUGE. Take more initiative towards boosting employee incentive/creativity. Mine was squashed while working there in TSD."
