"I like the company's core values. I like the position it holds in the industry. I like the working environment."

"Be professional and be prepared to take apptitude and customer service tests."
What don't you like about working at Home Depot?
"I dislike the rotating shifts and holidays that the hourly associates work."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Manage more by walking around instead of from behind a desk."
What do you like about working at Lowe's?
"I like everything about Lowe's. Lowe's gave me an opportunity to be an HR Manager without HR experience. Lowe's has provided me with many career advancement opportunities."

"I think anyone who is interviewing with Lowe's should be themselves. It would be unfortunate for the company and the newly hired if the wrong person was selected."
What don't you like about working at Lowe's?
"At this point I do not wish to relocate. In order for me to advance my career, I would be required to relocate out of California."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I always encourage my managers to be truthful and admit when they are wrong. I teach them how to adjust their leadership skills with the individual they are working with."

"Distance between stores sucks. I had two stores that were over a 100 miles from home and were a one day commute."

"If you want a nowhere job, just be nice to them and agree with anything the manager is saying. A lot of kissing up seems to be the best way to get hired."
What don't you like about working at Bed Bath & Beyond?
"The hours are bad. The management is horrible. There is no real structure to the California part of BB&B. The worst HR department that I have ever been around. Unfair practices and procedures. The HR manager over the District HR managers should be fired for theft of company time and unethical practices."

"Get good managers in and not by false words, but for what they know!"
