Overview Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is home to the world's leading aerospace and aviation training and research programs. Founded in 1925, a scant two decades after the Wright Brothers sparked the aviation age with their first flight, the university began as the Embry-Riddle Flying School. The following decades saw rapid growth in the university's pilot training, aviation engineering, and aerospace research areas.

Embry-Riddle has residential campuses in Daytona Beach, Florida and Prescott, Arizona.
