What do you like about working at Forsyth Technical Community College?
"I have enjoyed the variety of opportunities and responsibilities I have been given. In addition to classroom teaching, I have managed several high profile projects, created a large bulk of Computer Science course curriculum for our Continuing Education department, and have written textbooks for some of those courses."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Find out the name of the director or manager you will be working for, and speak with them about the job you are considering posting for. Networking is definitely the name of the game."
What don't you like about working at Forsyth Technical Community College?
"There don't seem to be a lot of opportunity for part time faculty to move into full time faculty positions."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Create more full-time opportunities. Incorporate the same type of direct deposit pay system that you have in place for your full time faculty and staff for your part time faculty and staff. Don't make part time staff and faculty feel like second class citizens in having to run to their mail box every month for their paycheck."
