3.6 Great academic environment, huge opportunity to grow professionally, only if mentored by the right professor. Not all the departments offer the exact same level of dominance in the field, as you expect from a Harvard school, but in some areas, the research level is top of its class. Therefore, a fascinating place to work and grow. However, the environment is overly competitive, which sometimes harm, while on the other hand, it can help you thrive. A bad aspect is that the system is highly bureaucratic, which sometimes makes for fell left aside. Nonetheless, that is not an issue for someone joining for the experience and for learning, to later go somewhere else to excel.

4.5 My internship is at Harvard University Faculty of Arts and Sciences, I started in January 29, 2014 to July 25, 2014. Working at Harvard University I found it to be very knowledgeable, educational and a great place to build my IT skills. My supervisors and co-workers are very helpful when needed. I managed computer labs around campus. I also maintained some of the printers such as making sure they always had paper, paper jams, changing toner and maintenance kits.

3.1 SAO states that it needs to develop an EE department but will not seriously advance a program, commitment or tools to accomplish this. Budgets are managed poorly and people are sometimes sent home for lack of being able to pay them. Outsourcing of EE projects are the trend. I have worked here for over a year as contract with a stated up front commitment to transition to permanent yet, contract workers are more the norm here.
