KIP is a mixture of traditional midwest company culture and a modern fast paced business. Many new initiatives and forward moving projects take place alongside traditional processes that have not changed in years. The company is looking at an upside in growth and modernization with a new owner and a new forward looking CEO.
1.6Lack of Systems & Technologies: gathering data to analyze is impossible. It's 2016, everything is manual input and tables are out of sync affecting perpetual inventory.
CI is not really CI here - There are no lean mfg. initiatives but only stating it on their "portfolio". No one here knows CI , Kaizen or 5S .
