"Stay clear of this place! Horrible work enviroment! They have a high turnover rate and it's not because they have high standards. It's due to the fact that leadership makes it a miserable place to work."

"MarketCounsel is a totally rad, regulatory compliance consulting aside :)"

What do you like about working at MarketCounsel?

"While at MarketCounsel I always felt supported, appreciated, and respected. It was a cultivating environment in which I grew exponentially, acquiring knowledge, skills, and confidence that has carried me far beyond my time there."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"My tips for interviewing here are no different than my tips for interviewing anywhere else: Be yourself!!If you, in your truest form, are not a good fit for a company, then you shouldn't want to work there. But if your question is what are some of the things MarketCounsel values, then my answer would be honesty, assertiveness, creativity, and sensibility... and follow-through. Be the kind of person that does what they say they are going to do!"

What don't you like about working at MarketCounsel?

"I wish till this day that the nature of the business at MC was just different. I was used to working at nonprofits and with children and missed that, so I left to pursue my passions. But MarketCounsel had such a wonderful culture; it was fresh and alive with great energy and outstanding people. If only I could copy and paste the company and the people in it to another industry entirely :)"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"As I said before, I always felt really supported. That was one of the tings I appreciated most there. Actually I still keep in contact with the CEO, Brian Hamburger. I learned so much from him back then and he is still a mentor to me. Continue to deliver that kind of experience to your team."

"The opportunity that it provides to think creatively. The vision of management to increase the value proposition to clients. The collaborative thinking to create a better brand."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Bring your A game. If you are not prepared, competent, and ready for your interview, delay and and prepare."

What don't you like about working at MarketCounsel?

"There is nothinig negative I can say about the company as a whole. What I did not like generally is that some colleagues (most have moved on, some still there) need to realize that coasting, doing the minimum is not tolerated. Sometimes those people become a cancer and bring negativity. You work hard, you are rewarded in one way or the other. MarketCounsel makes you work hard, which I have come to appreciate."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"My suggestion would be to have more small functions to celebrate successes."

What don't you like about working at MarketCounsel?

"This is a difficult environment to thrive in for many people that are used to the 9 to 5. Management challenges people to perform at consistently demanding levels."
