"We create animated explainer videos for businesses. We got contacted by Terence Mills on behalf of Moonshot NA in the beginning 2018 (Jan 2). We usually do our projects with 100% payment upfront. Terence asked us to break down the payments for the project in milestones and we agreed We received payment 1 and 2 on time. We delivered the first version of the animation on March 14 2018 (milestone 3). Then the 3rd payment got delayed, but we decided to continue working so we don't delay the project. We ended up revising the animation and finalizing its version before the 3rd payment was ever sent, trusting our gut feeling that Moonshot NA would be a trustworthy company to work with and they'd pay. Throughout the project we delivered everything when we said we would and we were expecting our client to reciprocate our professionalism in terms of paying what they owe in a timely manner. We had the final (and approved) version of the video ready on March 27 2018 (milestone 4 and 5). I asked multiple times for an exact date by which we can expect the payments, but they were never made. The last three milestones are still unpaid. It has been more than a year since we submitted our work for milestone 3. Bottom line: I do not recommend working with Moonshot NA. Our worst client experience yet. We've had delayed payments in the past as well, but we were always given an (approximate) timeline and an accurate explanation what is causing the delay. With Moonshot we did not get either."
