3.7I worked for Murata for 3 years as a sales planner. I was responsible for Samsung, Panasonic, Toshiba, MitsubishI and other accounts. These manufactures were producing HDTV but after economy crushed, production slow down. Naturally our sales got affected and I was laid off due to down sizing. I worked in small sales office in Irvine but people were friendly and professional. HQ people in GA were very helpful.
4.3Marie is the "go to" person in our office. Knowledgeable and very helpful. If she doesn't know the answer she will get the answer. Marie is great to work with, great personality, genuine and will not partake in office gossip. If you have something to say, say it. Marie can wear many hat's due to her years of experience in purchasing, document control, and inventory control. Supplier auditing and managing KPI's is another skill Marie has is currently responsible for in her position. Marie has driven change and has made a difference. Marie is a definite asset to our group.
2.1Worked there for a few years. There were some nice people there, but management is completely incompetent. Witnessed 2 layoffs per year, so I was ready when I got it and had an interview already scheduled with my current job before I got laid off.
The place is bleeding money and there are no prospects for the future since it is run by people who ran the same products at other companies that failed.
